To ensure a safe, enjoyable and well-organised environment for everyone, all members are asked to follow the club rules and observe proper shooting etiquette.

Respect Other Archers’ Equipment

Please do not touch or handle another archer’s equipment without their permission. This includes bows, arrows, bosses and stands.

Help Set Up and Clear the Range

Members wishing to participate in club shoots must arrive at least 45 minutes before the scheduled start time to help set up the range or field.

All participants are also expected to help dismantle and clear the range or field at the end of the shoot.

Book Your Place in Advance

To secure your place at a club shoot, you must add your name to the booking board at least 24 hours before the shoot.

Places may be limited, and failing to register in advance could mean arriving at the club only to find that there is no space available for you to shoot.

Range Access and Attendance

Beginners and non-members may attend the club by prior arrangement only.

Members must check the club calendar before visiting to ensure that the ranges are open and have not been reserved for a group, event or other organised activity.

Please check in advance to avoid disappointment and help ensure the ranges are used safely and efficiently.

Thank you for your cooperation and for helping to maintain a safe, respectful and welcoming environment for all Assheton Bowmen members.
